Our Chocolate Story

As first-generation Americans, staying connected to our cultural roots is important to our family. Whenever we journeyed back to our beloved hometown of Krakow, Poland, we were captivated by visits to the chocolatier, Karmello. It soon became a cherished tradition. We spent mornings at Karmello exclaiming over their exceptional chocolate desserts and sipping on rich European espresso.

These chocolates far surpassed sugary treats; they looked like veritable works of art. We returned from every trip with multiple boxes to share. As we watched our family and friends fall in love with Karmello, Magda shared a brilliant plan: “Why don’t we import the chocolates and supply them to local businesses?” I wholeheartedly embraced the idea, convinced that even in the worst-case scenario, we’d have a pantry at home filled with our favorite chocolates.
A year later, here we stand as the proud proprietors of our very own confectionary enterprise. We now import Belgian chocolates meticulously crafted by the esteemed Belgian chocolatier, Ingo, nestled in the picturesque Polish mountains—a connection forged through his love to a Polish woman. We hope our story is a testament to the wonderful and unexpected opportunities that the world has in store for those who are open to them.
